In 1950s Kolhapur, a young man named Ganpatrao Patane worked in a small stationery shop. He was not the owner. He was not the manager. He swept the floor, ran the counter, and showed up every single day. He saved for years. And when he finally had ₹800 — not a rupee more, not a rupee less — he did something nobody saw coming. He bought the shop he worked in.

His son Anand Patane took that beginning and built something real. He expanded into crockery, deepened the store's roots in Kolhapur, and earned what no advertisement can buy — the kind of trust where people send their children and their children's children to the same store.
